One of the improvements that I’m going to make to my blog this year is that I’m going to start posting more big pictures from each wedding.

I’ve been a busy little elf working up picture orders in time for Christmas.  The fun thing for me about this is that I get to revisit image folders that I haven’t seen in awhile.   Here are some pics that I love from Ashley and Justin’s wedding this summer.

Ciera came out to do a bridal session this fall.  It was refreshing to shoot bridal portraits in a relaxed setting without the tight timeline of a wedding day.   Next year I will be offering bridal sessions.  These can be before or after the wedding.   Below are some of Ciera’s favorites along with some of my favorites.  Thanks, Ciera, for doing such a great job!

I went to school with Gena and we do business with David, so it was fun to spend some time with them.    David had us all laughing most of the time, which distracted us from the cold weather.  I loved the story David told that when he met Gena, she was working at McDonald’s, so in order to see her he would go to the drive-up window and buy a medium sprite which he didn’t drink.  He did this about a dozen times a day.  He said he finally had to get up the nerve to ask her out on a date because he realized was not going to have any money left to take her out on a date if he kept spending $84 a week at the McDonald’s drive-up window on Sprite he didn’t drink.   I think he made the right choice, and I’m glad Gena gave him a chance.  Lol.

Chassidy is a lovely highschool senior from Clay City.  I couldn’t decide which of these images I liked better so decided to put both up.

I’m behind on the blog, so have several images to post over the next few days.  Here is one I did of Ada and Zoe with a campfire setup, which will probably make it’s way into our Christmas card design this year.  I wanted something that looked a bit like a storybook illustration.  Nita was a big help on the campfire set.  Thanks, Nita!  And I got the campfire idea originally from friend Sam.  Thanks, Sam!

Well, we’re back from Thanksgiving and I’m working up sessions.  Here is a pic of some of my favorite shoes ever from the Wolfe family’s session.
