I’m behind on posting and have several sessions that I need to get on the blog.  Here’s a Christmas image of Ava and Lilly that I loved.  They have so many images that will make a beautiful Christmas card.   One of the treats of this job is to get to watch such beautiful kids grow up.

Kaydie’s favorite bird is the  peacock, so she’d asked in advance for me to incorporate peacock feathers into some of her senior portraits.   This turned out to be one of my favorites.  Thanks for making the drive Kaydie!  You did great!

We enlisted all of the troops to photograph Jodi and Curtis with their children Annie and Lane.  Photographing small children outside with 45 minutes of daylight left is a full contact sport.  Invigorating!  And not for the faint of heart.   I’m sure passersby on the highway marvelled at the sight of adults bopping one another on the head with a stuffed monkey and crawling around on all fours beneath a willow tree.  Ah, the sights of southern Illinois.  And they say it’s all cornfields and beanfields, not so!  Thanks, gang for the good help.  I had fun.  And you have a beautiful family.

It was good to see MIles and Leslie and their family just before the weather turned cold.  Grace and Daniel have grown so much and their new little sister, Catherine is just adorable.

Grant is growing up so fast!  It was fun to see him Halloween week.  And I’m so happy that Grant’s dad is heading home from Iraq in a matter of days.

And, hey, isn’t he a bit young to be so sassy?  Lol.

I enjoyed spending time on a beautiful fall day with Brad and Tonya (of Illini Wireless) and their family.  Megan and Hunter (the young guns out front) are my new best pals.  :)

And, I had to add this one, because every time I see it, it makes me smile.

I’m working up print orders this morning, and since I love to post what I’m up to on the blog, I thought it would be fun to post a collage and another favorite from this session.  Aly has a ton of great images for her album.   These are some of their favorite images from Aly’s three hour session, chosen as prints as well as part of her forty image album.

What a fun wedding!  I have officially never laughed as much during formals and at a reception as at this wedding.   Jason and his henchmen were just outrageous.   I will post some photographic evidence of that in a collage later.  Lol.  Here’s one for now from Ashley and Jason’s wedding.   I love Ashley’s eyes in this one.

I photographed Keith and Elizabeth’s wedding a few years ago and still have one of their engagement pictures in my studio.  Anyway, it was a pleasure to get to spend some time with them again now that they’ve moved back to the area and to see how their family has grown.  I love how Garrett looks like a future rockstar in this photo.
